TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 19, 2007) - Cadillac Ventures Inc. (CNQ:CDEX) ("Cadillac") is pleased to announce that Mr. Leo O'Shaughnessy has joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"). Mr. O'Shaughnessy is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in both private and public companies, with significant expertise in mining. Mr. O'Shaughnessy was most recently the CFO for Iberian Minerals Corp., prior to that he was CFO with the Lisheen Mine. The Company would like to welcome Mr. O'Shaughnessy and looks forward to the expertise and directions Mr. O'Shaughnessy can bring to the Company. Mr. O'Shaughnessy will be compensated for his time on a monthly basis and receive 150,000 options to purchase securities of the Company. The appointment of Mr. O'Shaughnessy is subject to normal course regulatory approval.

Currently the Company holds the Burnt Hill Project in a joint venture with Noront Resources (NOT - TSXV), located near Fredericton New Brunswick and the New Alger Project which encompasses the historic New Alger Mine, located in the highly prospective Cadillac Break Mining Camp. The Burnt Hill Project was taken to a pilot plant pre-feasibility stage sin the early 1980's on the basis of the tungsten mineralization, other observed occurrences, including surface showings of molybdenum, were never examined.
