Leveraging years of training innovation advances, CAE launched earlier this year the development of its next breakthrough in pilot training referred to as Next Generation Training System. Supported by innovative data collection and analysis techniques, this system promises to improve training quality and efficiency through the integration of untapped data-driven insights into training. Today CAE is announcing the second phase its ground-breaking development in collaboration with AirAsia, focusing on the validation and refinement of the system's new training capabilities for pilot critical skill performance.

The validation phase of the Next Generation Training System will begin in the Fall 2016. CAE and AirAsia share a relationship that spans over 10 years. Together, they have formed the Asian Aviation Centre of Excellence, a joint venture based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
