calREDD™ Multiple Listing Service Launches in Mariposa County

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - April 26, 2010) -  calREDD™ today announced that members of the Mariposa County Board of REALTORS® now can view properties for sale, place listings, prepare CMAs, and access agents for referrals via calREDD™, the statewide Multiple Listing Service (MLS), which officially launched in Mariposa, Calif., today.

"We're pleased at the successful deployment of the calREDD™ system in Mariposa County and the level of support our members have received throughout the process," said Mariposa County Board of REALTORS® President Tierzah Smith. "The technological enhancements available to us through the calREDD™ software will help our members navigate today's transactional environment with ease."

calREDD™ already has been successfully deployed at the Madera Association of REALTORS®, the Merced Association of REALTORS®, the Lake County Association of REALTORS®, the Chico Association of REALTORS®, the Oroville Association of REALTORS®, and the Paradise Association of REALTORS®. Learn what members are saying about the calREDD™ system in Madera and Merced.

"Mariposa County members now have access to a statewide MLS that's innovative, reliable, and flexible, as well as the ability to access the data they need in a timely and efficient way," said REALTOR® Mike Silvas, CALMLS chairman. "Following today's successful launch in Mariposa County, software installations are on schedule at the Yosemite Gateway Association of REALTORS® in May, the Amador Association of REALTORS® and the Tehama County Association of REALTORS® in June, followed by the Del Norte Association of REALTORS® and Plumas Association of REALTORS®."

calREDD™ enables brokers and agents to access the statewide data through any participating AOR or MLS. Associations and MLSs may be part of the system by using the new vendor as their primary software or under a hybrid arrangement using an association's existing vendor connecting to the statewide system through calREDD™ for the rest of the data. To date, 68 local REALTOR® associations and multiple regional MLSs representing more than 120,000 members across the state have recognized the importance of a statewide MLS and have signed letters of intent to participate in this critical endeavor.
