Did you know one in six Albertan's are hard of hearing or Deaf? If you or someone you know is affected by deafness or hearing loss, then you are invited to join the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Society's 50th Anniversary celebration. Deaf and Hard of Hearing Society (DHHS) is a registered charity that supports the Deaf and hard of hearing communities in Alberta. The organization provides programs, classes, equipment and services including ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreting to address the needs of children, adults and their families affected by hearing loss.
