All 20 Calgary Co-op Locations
For the 23rd time, Calgary Co-op and Calgary Transit are teaming up to stuff a Calgary Transit bus full of donations to feed Calgary Food Bank clients! All 20 Calgary Co-op locations are participating and Calgary Food Bank volunteers will be onsite at every location accepting food and monetary donations.

This is an important event that helps feeds countless families and individuals during this financially straining time of year. Last year's event raised 35,000 pounds of food and $43,000 in one day!

Mayor's Food Drive Kick-off
Friday, Nov. 20

This year, we're kicking off the 27th Annual Mayor's Christmas Food Drive in style. On Nov. 20, local Calgary media and Mayor's Food Drive partners will work together to build awesome structures completely out of non-perishable food -- which after the build will be delivered straight to the Calgary Food Bank! The food drive runs through the entire month of December. Last year, this food drive campaign raised over $600,000 in food and funds.

Twelve Safeway locations across the city are getting ready for the season of giving by collecting food and funds for the Calgary Food Bank Mayor's Food Drive! This is the 27th year of the iconic seasonal food drive but the first time Safeway has opened up this many locations for one-day donations. Shoppers can give while they shop, making giving to neighbours in need easier than ever!

18 Wheels of Christmas
Nov. 27 to 29
Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Save-on-Foods Heritage - 100 8855 Macleod Trail SW
18 Wheels of Christmas began in 2002 with the goal of stocking food bank shelves during Christmas time. For four weekends in a row, Save-on-Foods and the Calgary Food Bank will partner up to fill 18-wheel trucks with food for food bank clients. To participate, Calgarians can visit the participating Save-on-Foods locations where volunteers will be standing by to collect monetary or food donations!

Every weekend is hosted at a different Save-on-Foods location. At the end of the four weekends, All the food is collected and delivered to the Calgary Food Bank.

Knox United Carol Festival

Love Christmas Carols? Start the season off the festive way! Join the Knox United Church for three evenings of Calgary's best choirs. This annual event not only attracts Calgarians from all over the city, but also helps feed Calgarians in need. Instead of regular admission, cash and food donations for the Calgary Food Bank are accepted as entry.

The Huron Carole

Gala Dinner and Performance

The Huron Carole, in support of the Calgary Food Bank, is a multi-media magical journey featuring enchanting songs of Christmas with a shimmering light of faith and plenty of Tomfoolery. Tickets are $225 and not only include a performance, but also a delicious gala-style dinner!

Amble with Angus Registration Open
Friday, Dec. 11

Eau Claire Market - 200 Barclay Parade SW
For the 14th year in a row, Amble with Angus 5K run has opened registration to runners of all abilities in support of the Calgary Food Bank's Children's Milk Program. Runners sign up, collect donations and sponsorships, then run the 5K from Eau Claire around the Bow River pathways. Registration is only $20 per person and each dollar is a direct donation to the Food Bank. A few kilometres and a few dollars go a long way!

Since their conception, Angus runs have raised $300,000 for the Calgary Food Bank. Let's make 2015 the best year ever!
