Entering its 20th year, the Calgary Corporate Challenge is back with a vengeance! The 2015 Calgary Corporate Challenge September Games begins with a bang at the MEG Energy-sponsored Family Day in support of the Calgary Food Bank. Everyone is welcome to bring non-perishable donations and come enjoy the day's festivities, which include a Calgary Food Bank truck pull, face painting, balloon animals and inflatable fun.

Come see three Calgary RV dealers battle it out for your business this weekend while supporting the Calgary Food Bank. Whether you're looking for a tent trailer, camper, travel trailer, motor home or fifth wheel, this event will allow customers to have a chance to see what the best RV dealers have to offer. Non-perishable food donations will be accepted at the event.

Annual City Wide Food Drive

It's that time of year again! On Sept. 19, Calgary's largest single-day food drive will have 7,000 volunteers going door-to-door in every neighbourhood in the city to collect food for the Calgary Food Bank. This marks the food drive's 11th year and the food bank looking to break last year's numbers which stand at 489,570 lbs.

Donation bags will be arriving on Calgarians doorsteps during the week of Sept. 14. Residents are asked to fill the bags with non-perishable food and leave them on doorsteps by 10 a.m. on pick-up day -- Sept. 19. The donations are picked up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If, by chance, a home is missed during the pick-up blitz, residents can call 587-316-1623 and food bank drivers will swing by to pick them up before the end of the day.

Anahata Yogathon

Anahata Energy Yoga is proud to present their first Yogathon! This event sports specialty vendors, live music, a drum circle and guest teachers. Proceeds from the Yogathon will support the Calgary Food Bank and the Sheldon Kennedy Advocacy Centre. Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the studio, 7711 Macleod Trail SE, now through until the event. Register today!
