CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 17, 2010) - Calgary Homeless Foundation

What: Those experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Calgary can access services and supports from 40 agencies. Available services include medical treatment, provision of identification, mental health services, income support, employment counselling, haircuts and more. Those attending will also receive comfort kits, clothing and a nutritious, hot lunch. To date, nearly 7,000 Calgarians at risk of or experiencing homelessness have the attended nine previous Project Homeless Connect (PHC) events in Calgary.
8:00 a.m. - Muffins/beverages provided in line before doors open 

8:30 – 9:30 a.m. - Dan the One Man Band to provide entertainment to participants in line 

9:00 a.m. - Doors open to participants

12:00 p.m. - Lunch is served until 1:30 p.m.

2:00 p.m. - Participant intake closes      

When: - Saturday, November 20, 2010    

Where: - Suncor Energy Centre, 150 – 6th Avenue SW, Calgary
