Calgary Parking Authority General Manager Announced

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 25, 2011) - The Calgary Parking Authority Board (CPA) of Directors announced today that Troy McLeod has been selected as the organization's new general manager.

"I am pleased to announce Mr. McLeod's selection as the new general manager," said Board Chairman Larry Ryder. "He has worked with The City of Calgary since 1995 and is very familiar with the community, Business Revitalization Zones, CPA and our partnership with The City."

Mr. McLeod was appointed Acting General Manager on May 19th to oversee the day-to-day operations of the CPA.

His first duties will be the implementation of recommendations from the strategic review conducted last year. He will be focusing on ways to improve customer service and stakeholder relations, clarify roles and enhance some aspects of the operations.

Mr. McLeod's appointment as general manager is effective immediately.

About Us

The Calgary Parking Authority fulfills the City of Calgary's parking mandates and implements the municipality's parking policies by managing on and off-street public parking facilities, enforcement programs and providing parking advisory services. The Authority operates without using any municipal tax revenues.
