Calgary Residents to Receive a New Compact and Handy Yellow Pages™ Directory-Light Edition

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 24, 2007) - Yellow Pages Group (YPG)(TSX:YLO.UN) announces that its new and first Yellow Pages(TM) directory - Light Edition is now being delivered to all Calgarians until the end of October along with the traditional Yellow Pages(TM) and residential directories.

Designed as an extension of the existing print Yellow Pages(TM) directory, the Light Edition is a smaller, portable, companion guide ideal for people on the move. About 415,000 copies will be distributed to Calgary residences and businesses. An additional 40,000 copies will be distributed in surrounding areas such as Airdrie, Okotoks, Cochrane, Chestermere Lake, Bears Paw, Heritage Hills, and Elbow Valley, providing these communities with useful information when wanting to find a business in the City of Calgary.

With its easy storage and portability, this new Light Edition is perfect for users who want comprehensive information available in places that usually do not have a print directory. "We expect this Light Edition to become a secondary practical and easy to use source of information for specific locations and occasions," says Jean-Pascal Lion, Vice President, Marketing of Yellow Pages Group. "Sized for a glove compartment or briefcase, it is ideal for the cottage, on the road or anywhere else a person may require information at their fingertips," he added.

As with the main phone book, the Light Edition includes complete local Calgary business information and features the exclusive "Your Life Events Planner", a check list that users will be able to follow when planning their wedding, buying their first house, moving, changing jobs, or becoming a parent. Also unique to this smaller version are four detailed maps of the Calgary downtown and eight maps of Calgary's surrounding areas.

YPG selected Calgary as the first market to offer the Light Edition because many Calgarians commute and require information while on the move, making this new version a convenient tool to carry around. Furthermore, with Calgary's strong economy, businesses have a second and complementary advertising option, offering them an additional opportunity to reach ready-to-buy consumers.

What Goes Around Comes Around!

YPG reminds Calgary residents and businesses that they can help the environment by recycling their outdated Yellow Pages(TM) directories when they receive the new edition. YPG directories are fully recyclable and are accepted at local recycling depots. For recycling depot locations and maps, please refer to the City of Calgary's web site at www.calgary.ca or within the phone book. Businesses that receive more than 50 directories, can arrange to have YPG pick up outdated directories free of charge. To obtain more information on this program, businesses can write to recycle@ypg.com.

More than Print Directories

In addition to the print book, YPG offers its rich content on multiple platforms. Those who prefer to look for business information online can visit YellowPages.ca(TM) or use their mobile phone by browsing mobile.yp.ca. In addition, the directory content is available through text messaging by texting YELLOW (935569), via Instant Messaging (poynt@yellowpages.ca) and through voice-directory assistance by dialling 310-YELO (9356), all for free!
