CUPERTINO, CA--(Marketwire - September 16, 2010) - An international call for papers has been issued for the 2011 edition of the VOICE Technical Program, a users group meeting and partners conference organized by premier semiconductor test company Verigy (
"In addition to the technical presentations, VOICE provides a collaborative forum for exchanging perspectives on the latest semiconductor testing techniques and best practices for Verigy V93000, V101 and V6000 platforms," said Rich Lathrop, senior staff applications engineer at Verigy and chairperson of the conference's steering committee. "Attendees have the opportunity to preview the latest high-yield test solutions for SOC, Flash, DRAM and high-speed memory ICs as well as full-wafer probe card solutions while interacting directly with test equipment R&D professionals."
The three-day conference offers a wide selection of educational sessions, ranging from product-focused tutorials and hands-on product showcases to discussions of emerging device technologies, global industry standards and future test requirements with peers and technical experts from integrated device manufacturers (IDMs), fabless semiconductor companies and outsource assembly and test (OSAT) houses.
This year's call for papers offers three ways for interested presenters to participate. Abstracts are now being accepted for 30-minute short-form presentations, 45-minute long-form presentations or participation in expert group discussions for each of the following technology tracks:
- Hardware and Loadboard Solutions, including the latest instruments and trends in design
- Test Techniques and Methodologies, covering new technologies and new solutions
- Test Engineering Effectiveness, including tips on developing efficient test programs
- Production Test, addressing cost-effective and throughput-optimized solutions
