Call for Nominations Now Open for Computerworld's "Best Practices in Business Intelligence" Awards Program

Sector's Top Awards Recognize Excellence in Users of Business Intelligence Technology

FRAMINGHAM, MA--(Marketwire - June 23, 2008) - Business Intelligence Perspectives, in conjunction with Computerworld, is seeking IT user-organization case study submissions for its "Best Practices in Business Intelligence" Awards Program. Computerworld's Business Intelligence Perspectives annual Awards Program identifies and acknowledges excellence among users of business intelligence technology.

The deadline to submit a nomination is Monday, July 14, 2008 and can be made at: http://bestpractices.computerworld.com/2008/bip/

Eligible nominees are exclusively IT end-user organizations. Nominations of IT end-user organizations are accepted from IT users themselves, their public relations representatives, or vendors on behalf of their IT end-user customers. Multiple submissions of case studies describing different deployments per IT end-user/organization will be considered.

Five Finalists will be chosen in each category and honored at Computerworld's Business Intelligence Perspectives Conference, to be held Sept. 8-10, 2008, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Ariz. Award Honorees will be recognized on the event website (www.biperspectives.com), in an event press release, and may be featured in a special Computerworld supplement.

Honorees and Finalists will be recognized in each of the following five categories:

--  Creating an Agile BI Infrastructure
--  Driving Process Management with BI
--  Expediting Information Delivery, Retrieval, Reporting and Analysis
--  Innovation and Promise in Business Intelligence
--  Optimizing the BI Opportunity with a Well-Planned and Defined
    Governance Strategy
