According to Gartner, "the SPM market has continued to mature in the last year, growing into a market of more than $2 billion, as measured by spend on all software, consulting and managed services across SPM and human capital management (HCM) providers." SPM is a solution set that automates and optimizes key sales processes such as incentive compensation management (ICM), territory and quota management as well as the training and coaching of sales professionals.
