CALSM Announces CALSM-Posium 2012 Conference Speakers

The Chicago Association of Litigation Support Managers ("CALSM") Announces CALSM-Posium 2012, a Full-Day Educational Conference for Professionals Working In and Around the Fields of Electronic Discovery and Litigation

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Sep 12, 2012) - CALSM announces the 4th Annual CALSM-posium, an educational conference for professionals working in and around the fields of electronic discovery and litigation. This year's conference will be held on Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Union League Club of Chicago (65 W. Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois). Visit the CALSM website to register.

CALSM-posium is designed to give attorneys, paralegals, litigation support professionals, service providers, and technical and IT support professionals practical insights and tools that they can implement in their everyday practice. This year's CALSM-posium has a full-day agenda. Barb Hanahan, Event Co-Chair, explains, "Attendance growth and speaker and sponsorship interest have grown so dramatically over the past three years that we expanded the event to a full day with two plenaries and nine panels. The high caliber of our speakers, the timely topics and the lively discussions that ensued after the sessions keep bringing people back for more."

CALSM-posium 2012 kicks off with a continental breakfast, leisurely networking and a timely topic to launch the educational part of the event. Panel discussions providing education in electronic discovery and litigation support best practices run in three concurrent tracks throughout the day, with a lunch break for the second plenary. The conference concludes with a cocktail reception where attendees can personally engage industry luminaries and network with peers.

CALSM President David Siarny says, "We're very excited about CALSM-posium 2012. Chicago is home to vibrant electronic discovery organizations including the Seventh Circuit Electronic Discovery Pilot Program, so we feel that CALSM-posium plays an important role in fostering discussion and education throughout the Midwest. Interest in our conference has spread, however, and we are now hearing from individuals and organizations from coast to coast. We intend to build on CALSM-posium's tradition of excellence with stellar turn-out and intelligent, informed, and insightful conversation this fall."

Once again, CALSM-posium sponsors include some of the industry's top providers and leaders in the service industry. Sponsorship Chair Jenn Fryer notes, "The sponsors are such an important part of the CALSM-posium. We would not be able to have such a successful event without their continued support each year." Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Interested parties can contact Jenn at or call 312-577-1305.
