HUNTSVILLE, AL--(Marketwire - December 2, 2010) - Camber Corporation has been named as one of the 2011 Best Places to Work in Virginia. Camber won the prestigious 2011 Best Places to Work in Virginia Award in the large business category. Sponsored by the Virginia Business and Best Companies Group, the honor recognizes the top 50 places to work in Virginia among small, medium, and large-sized companies. Two of Camber's three Groups are headquartered in Centreville, Virginia with Virginia offices in Charlottesville, Newport News, Norfolk, Quantico, Rosslyn, and Sterling.

Competition for the award follows a two-phase process involving an evaluation of key management and business infrastructure qualities followed by an anonymous survey of employees for their personal assessment of the leadership environment, working conditions, and outlook for the year ahead. Camber Corporation entered the competition as a large company, competing against all similar sized and many larger companies in the Greater Northern Virginia area.

"At our core, Camber Corporation is high-performing people dedicated to making our customers successful in a fair and challenging environment for our employees," says Walter Batson, Camber Chief Executive Officer. "This award recognizes the employees and leaders who build and sustain this environment on a day-to-day basis, and their achievement in establishing Camber Corporation as one of the best places to work in the highly-competitive areas of Northern Virginia and the National Capital Region."
