Camber Wins Army LVC-IA Support Contract as Key Cole Engineering Services, Inc. Team Member

HUNTSVILLE, AL--(Marketwire - July 6, 2010) -  The US Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) today awarded Cole Engineering Services, Inc. (CESI) their Live, Virtual, Constructive Integrating Architecture (LVC-IA) contract -- a multi-year, multi-million dollar effort impacting Army training at locations across the globe. Camber Corporation joins CESI in the LVC-IA program as a key support contractor.

The LVC-IA program will deliver a persistent architecture allowing two-way, network-centric linkages between the various models, simulations and instrumentation devices supporting Brigade Combat Team (BCT) training. Architecture components will retrieve, store, and distribute essential operations information in real-time to facilitate a common operating picture and full-spectrum, virtual training environment between participating units. A significant step forward in training realism, the capability promises tremendous efficiencies in leader, unit and individual training execution with concurrent gains in cost and mission readiness. Camber Corporation will provide After Action Review (AAR), Net-Ready, Information Assurance, New Equipment Training (NET), and Sustainment Support as part of the LVC-IA team.

"I'm both excited and proud to have Camber on the CESI-led team," said Bryan Cole, CESI founder and President. "CESI followed a very deliberate and rigorous process as we reviewed and selected companies to join Team CESI to work LVC-IA. Camber's rich training experience, their strong corporate ethics, and their proven reputation for meeting and exceeding customer needs around the world made them a perfect choice and exactly who we needed to help develop and deliver this vital capability to the Warfighter."

"We at Camber are absolutely delighted with this STOC II contract win and our partnership with Cole Engineering," said Walter Batson, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Camber Corporation. "LVC-IA is exactly the capability our troops need to train against the range of threats we face as a Nation. Cole Engineering is the industry partner PEO STRI and the Warfighter can trust for delivery."
