NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 19, 2007 -- CAMP BROADWAY® is pleased to announce its May 2007 "Show-By-Show" featuring the new Broadway hit, "Legally Blonde, The Musical." CAMP BROADWAY's Show-By-Show is a series of exciting and interactive weekends for theatre-loving kids ages 9 -17. CAMP BROADWAY's Show-By-Show: "Legally Blonde, The Musical" will take place on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May13.

CAMP BROADWAY Show-By-Show is created to offer participants an inside look at the world of Broadway by focusing on a specific Broadway show. In addition to seeing the matinee performance of the featured show, all participants attend a celebrity luncheon to meet its stars, creators, and behind-scenes-talent. Participants also receive twelve hours of training in singing, acting and dancing from CAMP BROADWAY's top theater professionals. The weekend culminates in a short presentation for family and friends of an authentic musical number taught to participants from one of the Broadway show's Artists.

"Legally Blonde, The Musical," based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture, is currently playing on Broadway at the Palace Theatre. The musical, opening on Sunday, April 29, 2007, stars Laura Bell Bundy as Elle Woods. At the helm of the creative team of "Legally Blonde" is Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, who makes his Broadway directorial debut and also choreographs. Music and lyrics are by both Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin, and the book is by Heather Hach. James Sampliner serves as music director.

In "Legally Blonde, The Musical," sorority star Elle Woods doesn't take 'no' for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone more "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.
