Camping World and the Good Sam Club began in 1966 when the first small Camping World store opened its doors in Beech Bend Park, KY, and a small California RV magazine called Trail-R-News founded The Good Sam Club, whose original members promised to help fellow travelers on America's highways. Both companies would eventually join forces to serve every aspect of the RV experience.
"The VIP event being held the same month as the fourth season premiere of my show, The Profit, is very symbolic to me," noted Lemonis. "The show focuses on saving small businesses, but most importantly it is about motivating people to be their personal best, as I strongly believe that people are the heart of any business. To see how this brand has evolved over the past 50 years is amazing, and I am proud to participate in this event with our customers this Saturday."
Camping World and Good Sam continue to chart new territory in the RV world. Today, as members of the same corporate family, Camping World sells RV supplies and accessories at over 120 SuperCenters coast to coast, most of which offer sales of new and used RVs, while the Good Sam Club provides a variety of exclusive benefits, services and discounts to over 1.6 million members across North America.
The event is free and open to the public but patrons are encouraged to RSVP for this event by calling 866-887-8261 by August 11th. Visit www.CampingWorldofChicago.com for more information on sales and services.
