Canada Energy Partners Appoints New Auditors

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - July 4, 2014) - Canada Energy Partners Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CE) ("Canada Energy" or the "Company") announces that it has changed its auditors from D&H Group LLP (the "Former Auditors") to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (the "Successor Auditors") effective June 12, 2014.

At the request of the Company, the Former Auditors resigned as auditors of the Company effective June 12, 2014. The Board of Directors of the Company has appointed the Successor Auditors of the Company effective June 12, 2014.

There were no reservations in the Former Auditors' reports for the two most recently completed fiscal years or for any period subsequent to the most recently completed period for which and audit report was issued and preceding the date of the Former Auditors' resignation. There are no reportable events between the Company and the Former Auditors.
