Canada Energy Partners Inc.: Amendment and Grant of Incentive Stock Options

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 12, 2010) - Canada Energy Partners Inc. ("Canada Energy" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CE) announces that, subject to regulatory approval, it has granted pursuant to the Company's stock option plan an aggregate of 3,230,000 stock options to directors, officers, consultants and employees of the Company at an exercise price of $0.63 per common share until October 8, 2015. 

In addition, the Company has agreed to re-price and extend the terms of an aggregate of 4,437,500 stock options previously issued to directors, officers, employees and a consultant of the Company as follows:
