Canada Olympic Park Hosts Stop 5 of the Southern Alberta Series

CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - March 04, 2016) - This weekend, Canada Olympic Park will host stop five of the Southern Alberta Series. This event is particularly exciting as it is the final FIS event of the year. The event will include both a halfpipe and slopestyle competition, with roughly 70 athletes expected to compete over the weekend.

The halfpipe event will run from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 4. The athletes will compete against each other in Canada's best half pipe, located at Canada Olympic Park. The slopestyle event will go from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. the following day on Saturday, Mar. 5, 2016.

Canada Olympic Park is encouraging individuals of all ages to check out the hill and is offering all-day lift tickets for only $9.99 on Saturday and Sunday.
