Canada Post: Send Santa's Letters Soon!

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 15, 2006) - Santa reminds children all across Canada they need to send their letters to him soon. "The North Pole is a busy, busy place right now," Santa said from the North Pole Post Office. "And while we all enjoy reading and answering every letter we get, we want to answer as many of those letters as possible before our big day!"

Each year, Canada Post volunteers help Santa with the more than one million letters and 30,000 emails he receives. This year, Santa has already received more emails than he did last year and he is on-track to once again receive more than a million of the time-honoured 'wish lists' and holiday greetings. Santa answers every letter he receives. However, to ensure a response is delivered before Christmas, letters to Santa should be mailed by December 18.

Kids and parents may also want to log on to Santa's Corner (www.canadapost.ca/santascorner), where in the Write to Santa section, they can download a special Santacast message from Santa!
