Macrovision Corporation's (Nasdaq:MVSN) Trymedia® Games Division today announced the launch of web gameplay through their game distribution service. is the first of Macrovision's Trymedia Network game distribution affiliates to take advantage of the web gameplay offering. A selection of top web games can be played online at as part of a full downloadable games store solution provided by Macrovision.

The first titles that offer the 'instant play' feature on include such popular casual games as Mah Jong Quest, Bejeweled 2 Deluxe, Jewel Quest, Insaniquarium, Scrabble Rack Attack, Puzzle Express, Word Mojo Gold, Ant War, AstroPop Deluxe and 5 Card Slingo Deluxe. Web games enhance Macrovision's extensive downloadable games services by providing entertaining content to ISPs, portals and online retailers that gives web users an increased number of reasons to spend more time on their site. In addition, the ease with which consumers can try out games online contributes to the conversion rate of games downloaded and purchased.
