Canada's Largest Cannabis Trade Show Will Be Debuting in Toronto

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - December 01, 2015) - Lift Cannabis Co, Canada's leading cannabis communications company, is pleased to announce its upcoming Lift Cannabis Expo. The trade show -- the largest of its kind in Canada -- will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on May 28-29, 2016, and will feature more than a hundred exhibitors from across Canada, the United States, and Europe.

Sponsored by the largest federally licensed medical marijuana producer, Tweed, and North America's leading seed company, Crop King Seeds, the two-day tradeshow will provide an engaging environment for patients, consumers, industry members, entrepreneurs, local leaders, job seekers and curious individuals to come learn about one of North America's fastest growing industries.

"Canada has always been and continues to be a leader on the world cannabis stage," stated Lift CEO, Tyler Sookochoff. "With an enviable medical marijuana program and now legalization on the horizon, the time is right for us to showcase the many innovations and players in the global industry from right here in our own backyard."

The Lift Cannabis Expo will feature a large exhibition hall filled with over 100 businesses showcasing industry-leading products and services, including licensed producers, dispensaries, seed companies, nutrient companies, hydroponics manufacturers, medical clinics, health and wellness providers, and many more. The Expo will also feature two full days of educational talks and seminars from top industry leaders.

"The team at Lift has done a fantastic job facilitating conversations about cannabis during this period of rapid evolution," said Mark Zekulin, President of Tweed. "With legal non-medical cannabis on the horizon, we are excited to join as a title sponsor of the Lift Cannabis Expo and to introduce a new audience to the high quality standards and open approach that is Tweed."

Canada has a long history of being a leader in the global cannabis industry. Its world-class medical cannabis production facilities are second-to-none, and with the election of a new federal government -- one that has unequivocally pledged to fully legalize cannabis for adult use -- Canada is poised to once again lead the global movement towards a truly open and regulated cannabis industry.
