Canada's Leading Online Destination, CANOE, Selects Omniture to Optimize Online Content and Services for 200 Web Properties

Omniture Measures the Performance of Over One Million Web Pages to Enhance Visitors' Online Experience

OREM, UT -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 5, 2007 -- Omniture, Inc. (NASDAQ: OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimization software, today announced that CANOE, Canadian Online Explorer -- a leading Canadian content destination with brands that cover news and information, sports, entertainment, finance, business, travel, automotive, real estate, classifieds and employment services -- has selected Omniture to ensure the content and services offered throughout their 200 Web properties is relevant to each segment of their target audience. Using Omniture Web analytics technology, CANOE can measure visitor behavior across their one million Web pages to gain insight into how customers interact with the company's diverse online business models, optimizing the user experience for each Web site.

"CANOE operates all the online portals of Quebecor Media, a major Canadian media group. Because each Web site has its own specific market, product, and business objectives, it is critical for us to provide relevant content and services to help each segment of our visitor base have a positive online experience," said Simon Rivard, vice president of marketing at CANOE. "Omniture provides us with the technological flexibility to measure and analyze visitor activity associated with each business type, providing us with the information we need to improve our online channels on a day-to-day basis."

In order to deliver the relevant content and services to each type of customer visiting their online properties, CANOE uses Omniture SiteCatalyst® -- Omniture's Web analytics platform -- to measure a variety of visitor activities. For example, on CANOE's automotive portal site, autonet.ca, Canoe's team can understand what types of vehicles people are searching for, or identify trends associated with the volume of searches conducted in specific geographical locations. For their ecommerce sites, CANOE can identify which products are most popular, gain insight into what visitors are searching for, or identify any potential usability problem -- such as people exiting a particular page -- associated with ineffective site layout and navigation. CANOE also uses SiteCatalyst to understand traffic and visitor response associated with their online campaigns.

"Omniture's deep expertise in working with the leading Internet companies across all verticals places us in the unique position of being able to service this diverse company," said Gail Ennis, senior vice president of marketing at Omniture. "CANOE's dynamic business model and goal of optimizing visitor experience requires a reliable solution to measure and segment visitor trends based on individual site objectives. Our solutions provide the flexibility needed to enable companies to engage each visitor with targeted and relevant content and information."
