Canadian Artists Unite to Raise Money for Disaster Relief in Japan

Canada Rocks 4 Japan will take place on April 14th at The Sound Academy

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 29, 2011) - We have all seen the tremendous devastation that has taken place in Japan which has led to human suffering and serious economic loss. The images that cross our television screens leave us feeling compassionate but yet grateful that we, as Canadians, have not yet had to endure such devastation and suffering.

Japan, having suffered a horrific earthquake, devastating Tsunami and now the nuclear crisis all in a matter of days finds itself in dire need of aide and support.

Canada, being a country of very rich diversity and talent has never dropped the ball when it comes to showing compassion and aiding those less fortunate.

An Organization by the name of Canada Rocks 4 Japan has been created to organize a large Benefit Concert in support of The Canadian Red Cross for the sole purpose of raising much needed funds to Aide in the Recovery, Clean up and sustenance of those Japanese Provinces, Cities and Towns devastated by this horrific tragedy.

On Thursday April 14th a Benefit Concert "Canada Rocks 4 Japan" will be taking place at The Sound Academy 11 Polson Street Toronto Ontario.

The Concert will consist of all Canadian talent both signed and independent. We, the Canada Rocks 4 Japan committee wanted to make this concert as inclusive as possible while showing the Diversity of our amazing Canadian Talent. The concert will feature artists from diverse genres of music.

A song has been written specifically for the occasion and all links are specified below.

We as Canadians have enormous hearts and this event will once again show the world that the Canadian Entertainment Industry is stepping up to the plate.

Tickets go on sale through Ticket Master Tuesday March 29, 2011 at a cost of $20.00.
