Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs Begin Donor Development and Awareness Campaign

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 27, 2010) - The Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC) is initiating a 3 month national Donor Development and Awareness Campaign thru to the end of December 2010 to promote fire and public safety issues.

The Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs is an independent, non-profit organization with a voluntary membership dedicated to reducing the loss of life and property from fire, and advancing the science and technology of the Fire and Emergency Service.

The CAFC is financed primarily by sales of Fire-Service related publications and materials, its membership dues and Donor Development from this campaign.

Founded in 1909, CAFC has over 900 members from fire departments, health care facilities and Fire Emergency Services across Canada with a mission to lead and represent the Canadian Fire Service on public safety issues. The vision of the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs is to be nationally recognized as the Canadian Fire Services voice of authority.
