CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Jan. 30, 2014) - Calgary will become the next city to host Centre for Inquiry (CFI) atheist billboards as Canada's largest group of secularists, humanists and atheists showcase the latest chapter of their "Without god. We're all good" message.
"Religious leaders often condemn non-believers, arguing it takes religion and belief in god to be kind and moral," said Nate Phelps, CFI Calgary Executive Director. "This campaign challenges that idea head on."
Calgary will become the third city to host the new campaign, following Vancouver and Sudbury.
The billboard features a young woman with the caption "Jenn 13:1 Praying won't help. Doing will. Without God. We're all good." The billboard will be located on the south side of 3603A Edmonton Trail NE.
"Members of the secular community will gather there on Friday, January 31st at 3:00 pm for photographs and celebration," said Mike Gray, Assistant Executive Director of CFI Calgary.
