Canadian Blood Services' Organ Donation and Transplantation Report to Be Released

10 Years of Medical Data From Throughout Canada to Be Released


OTTAWA, ON--(Marketwired - September 08, 2016) -

WHAT: Canadian Blood Services will release its first report to provide Canadians with access to a decade's worth of information on organ donation and transplantation in Canada -- including the most current donation and transplantation statistics.

The news conference will introduce the report, describe Canadian Blood Services' role in organ donation and transplantation, provide insight on why this is important for Canadians and for health systems, a deeper look at the data in the report, and key findings. Following the conference, a moderated question period will take place.

The presentation will take place in English. However, if there are French questions, interpretation services will be on-hand.
