Canadian Grocery Distributors Respond to Today's Announcement From Health Canada Concerning Bisphenol A

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 18, 2008) - In response to Minister Tony Clement's announcement today at 12:30 p.m. Government of Canada Takes Action on Another Chemical of Concern: Bisphenol A, CCGD members will be withdrawing from sale all polycarbonate baby bottles. "Grocery distributors recognize Health Canada as the definitive authority on product safety and we are taking immediate action on today's announcement", said Nick Jennery, President & CEO, CCGD.
