Canadian Helicopters Income Fund Announced Resignation of Alain Bedard

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 18, 2006) - Canadian Helicopters Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:CHL.UN), announced that the Fund has received and accepted the resignation of Alain Bedard as Trustee of the Fund.

Jean Guertin, the Fund's Chairman, said today, "the Board would like to thank Alain for his contribution since the Fund's initial public offering and wish him well in his business endeavours".
