Canadian International AutoShow Announces Exclusive Partnership With Auto Trader

Auto Trader takes the wheel as the official presenter of the CIAS

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 11, 2008) - The Canadian International AutoShow (CIAS), Canada's largest and most prestigious consumer event, and Auto Trader™, Canada's leading destination for new and used cars, are proud to announce a unique, four-year long partnership, making Auto Trader the presenting Title Sponsor and Show Program Publisher of the CIAS.

The partnership grants publishing and event presentation rights to Auto Trader, outlining AutoTrader.ca™ as the sole online partner of the show. Auto Trader will drive the production of the show program incorporating editorial content and new car introductions. AutoTrader.ca will also feature exclusive coverage of the CIAS.

"As two of Canada's automotive industry leaders, partnering was a natural match for Auto Trader and the Canadian International AutoShow," said Doug A. Clarke, President of Trader Corporation. "This alliance allows us to further support the Canadian automotive industry, as well as relaying up-to-the-minute auto show information to our online visitors on www.AutoTrader.ca."

Mike Karim, President of the 2009 Canadian International AutoShow added, "The Title Sponsor and Show Program Publisher is an inclusive category that only a company with Auto Trader's striking credentials could fulfill. We welcome Auto Trader's participation and look forward to their additional contribution to the Show's pantheon of marketing leading sponsors."

The 2009 Canadian International AutoShow will take place from February 13-22, 2009 in Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and the Rogers Centre.
