Canadian Media Company Leads the Way in North American Contest

Suburban Newspapers of America Honour Metroland Media With 77 Awards

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 23, 2010) - Suburban Newspapers of America (SNA) announced Metroland Media as the big winner of the 2010 Advertising and Promotions competition last night at the Fall Publishers and Advertising conference in Philadelphia, PA., winning 77 awards, the most of any organization.

The SNA competition included submissions from thousands of suburban newspapers across North America.

The Mississauga News, a Metroland Media community newspaper, garnered 17 awards, while the daily Hamilton Spectator won 12 awards, including seven first place honours.
