Canadian Metals Announces the Appointment of the Engineering Manager


MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Feb. 13, 2015) - Canadian Metals Inc. ( The "Corporation") (CSE:CME) is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Mr. Budjon Xhuti who joined our team in the position of Engineering Manager. He will play a key role in the execution of the Company's strategy of moving rapidly to production.

Mr. Xhuti, mineral processing engineer since 1986, possesses a strong professional experience gained in a decade in the plant Bulqizë-Batër, Albania, producing chromite to supply their ferrochrome facility. During the period from 1994 to 1999, he held the position of director as a coal plant manager, Korçë, Albania. Finally he held the position of Secretary General to the Prefecture and executive director of a company to civil engineering.

Mr. Xhuti exercised his professional activities for over ten years in hydrometallurgy first as a foreman and later as scientific R & D for 5N Plus, Montreal. He was responsible for the commissioning of a tellurium production plant and managed major projects involving minor metals such as tellurium, cadmium, gallium, indium, selenium, that essential to the manufacture of photovoltaic and electronic components, for the space industry and the pharmaceutical industry.

Mr. Xhuti possess also a postgraduate degree DESS (Nancy, France) as expert mineral processing engineer, and a PhD degree in mineral processing (Albania). Since 2011 he is a member in good standing of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIC).

Budjon will work closely with ELECTROCHEM TECHNOLOGIES & MATERIALS INC. during the prototype and piloting campaigns. He will also provide mentoring for the younger engineers that will be joining our team.
