Canadian Metals Hired BBA to Assess Several Industrial Sites for Intalling its Ferrosilicon Smelter in Quebec

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - May 7, 2015) - Canadian Metals Inc. (The "Corporation") (CSE:CME) is pleased to announce that the company BBA, an independent Canadian consulting engineering firm, was mandated to undertake an assessment study for selecting a suitable industrial site, in the Province of Québec, for the ferrosilicon production plant.

Since the project was launched last February CME management and his technical team have identified and reviewed three potential industrial sites in Québec. These sites will be assessed by BBA based on key criteria such as electric grid capacity, and main infrastructures including a deep-water harbor, railroad, roads, available utilities, skilled work force and others.

Stephane Leblanc, Canadian Metals President and C.E.O., stated: '' As we mentioned in a previous release, CME advances rapidly on this project and one of the priority of Canadian Metals is to decide rapidly and to announce officially the final location for our Ferrosilicon smelter. This is mandatory in order to initiate the environmental impact study."

For almost a decade, the Langis' quartzite in St-Vianney was quarried and exported to Europe for the production of Ferrosilicon. Canadian Metals has established rapidly a talented management team to transform the Langis' quartzite into a high grade Ferrosilicon product. With this project; Canadian metals wants to built a new benchmark in connection with Quebec government economic policy and development of Quebec Plan Nord. With the goal to create about one hundred highly qualified direct jobs and approximately 300 indirect jobs, Canadian Metals strongly believes that Province of Quebec possesses all the key assets for such industrial project including skilled work force, infrastructures and affordable hydropower.
