Allowing for One-Stop Convenience

YELLOWKNIFE, NORTHWEST TERRITORIES--(Marketwire - May 31, 2012) - Canadian North is proud to announce an interline agreement with WestJet, effective May 24, 2012. This agreement allows for the convenience of booking travel with both airlines on one ticket, checking in for Canadian North and WestJet flights at the same time, as well as through-checking luggage all the way to the final destination.

"We are excited to bring this added convenience to our customers and proud to be the first airline in Canada to secure an interline agreement with WestJet," said Canadian North's Vice President of Scheduled Service, Lorraine Bonner. "Our customers will now benefit from a more seamless trip with the ability to book their connecting flights on one ticket, as well as the convenience of one-stop check-in and through-checked luggage."

Canadian North operates flights to and from Northwest Territories and Nunavut through their southern gateways of Edmonton and Ottawa, allowing for convenient connections across southern Canada with WestJet.

"We're pleased to launch our first Canadian airline partnership," said John MacLeod, WestJet Vice President, Network Management & Alliances. "We look forward to connecting up guests between WestJet's network to the south and Canadian North's strong northern network."
