CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Oct. 18, 2013) - Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited ("COPL" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:XOP) announces the departure of its Chief Accounting Officer, Aleksandra Owad. The directors wish to thank Ms. Owad for her contributions to the Company since its formation and wish her all the best in future endeavours.

COPL is an international oil and gas exploration and development company focused on oil and gas exploration activities offshore of the Republic of Liberia.
