Canadian Patent for Evolving Systems' Dynamic SIM Allocation(TM) Solution

ENGLEWOOD, CO--(Marketwired - Nov 6, 2014) - Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL), a leader in activation, enablement and management of services for connected mobile devices worldwide, today announced that it has been granted a patent in Canada for key elements of the Company's Dynamic SIM Allocation™ (DSA) solution.

"Evolving Systems continues to invest in DSA, substantially enhancing the solution with many additional features and capabilities since we first introduced it to wireless operators several years ago," said Bill Chard, VP Product Management. "We have been granted a number of US patents and are seeking patent protection in other parts of the world too -- this patent in Canada is the first of several we expect to be granted outside the US."

DSA activates SIM cards on-demand in smartphones, feature phones, tablets and other connected devices. It helps operators grow their revenue, reduce costs and offer an enhanced user experience. Subscribers can personalize their service by choosing their phone number, tariff plan and options directly on their device, and take advantage of promotions that the operator can tailor according to location and device type.

Telecom operators throughout Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia are benefitting from Evolving Systems' DSA solution. By changing the way SIM cards are activated, constraints associated with pre-provisioning can be overcome. DSA systems globally activate on average over 350,000 new SIM cards each day.
