Canadian Premium Select Income Fund Announces Unitholder Approval of Merger


OAKVILLE, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 18, 2013) - Canadian Premium Select Income Fund (TSX:HCS.UN) (the "Fund") announces that its unitholders have approved conversion (the "Conversion") of the Fund into an open-end mutual fund by way of a merger (the "Merger") with Harvest Canadian Income & Growth Fund.

Harvest Portfolios Group Inc., the Fund's manager, expects that the Conversion by way of the Merger will be implemented on November 22, 2013. Upon implementation of the Conversion by way of the Merger, unitholders of the Fund will receive Class R units (Front End Sales Charge Option), on a tax-deferred basis of Harvest Canadian Income & Growth Fund.
