TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 29, 2005) - Canadian Shield Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CSP) ("Canadian Shield" or the "Company") announces the appointment of Terence Bottrill as Exploration Manager.

Mr. Bottrill has over 40 years of experience in the mineral exploration business.
