Canadian Spirit Resources Inc. Announces Director Retirement

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 31, 2011) - Canadian Spirit Resources Inc. ("CSRI" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:SPI) (OTCBB:CSPUF) announces that Robert P. Winnitoy, P.Eng. has advised the Corporation that he will retire as a director effective November 1, 2011 to focus on his consulting activities.

Mr. Winnitoy joined the CSRI Board of Directors in August 2004.

Mr. Winnitoy has agreed to continue his relationship with the Corporation in a consulting capacity.

Commenting on Mr. Winnitoy's retirement as a director of CSRI, George Watson, Chairman stated that "We have appreciated Bob's counsel during the early development stage of the Corporation's Farrell Creek property" and he added "We are pleased that Bob will continue in an advisory role".
