Canadian Student Delegate to Meet With G8 Leaders

TORONTO, ONTARIO and BERLIN, GERMANY--(Marketwire - June 6, 2007) -

WHAT: A group of eight student delegates of the Junior 8 Summit (J8)
will present their joint communiqué to the G8 leaders.

WHO: Representing Canada will be Marion Guay-Arcand, 17.

Among the 74 youth gathered in Germany to discuss pressing global
issues is a group of eight from Québec City. Aptly named Act Now
For Tomorrow, the group represents the voice of Canadian youth.

WHEN: Thursday June 7, 2007 at 6:15 a.m. EST (12:15 p.m. UTC/GMT)

WHERE: Heiligendamm, Germany (G8 Summit)

WHY: The J8 Summit, a joint initiative by UNICEF and Morgan Stanley
International Foundation, aims to strengthen the voice of children
and young people and enhance their ability to influence decisions
at the G8 level that affect children worldwide. The J8 programme
also seeks to foster a global youth movement around G8 issues by
enabling young people to convene and discuss key global issues and
advocate for urgent solutions.
