Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) Congratulates Jill Earthy, Cathy Kuzel and Lynn Jest on Their YWCA Woman of Distinction Nominations!

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 1, 2013) - The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) would like to congratulate our very own Jill Earthy, Director for British Columbia and Yukon, on her YWCA Woman of Distinction Nomination under the Non-Profit & Public Service category. She is joined by Cathy Kuzel, a valued CYBF mentor and Founder & President of The Connected Woman, and Lynn Jest, Director of Continuing Education at Capilano University and proud CYBF community partner. Both Cathy and Lynn are nominated under the Education, Training & Development category.

Jill Earthy is passionately committed to making valuable connections and creating mentorship opportunities. She has supported thousands of entrepreneurs in reaching their full potential, and is a collaborative community leader who has formed key alliances with women's business networks that now represent and promote the interests of 10,000 women in Metro Vancouver.

"It is an honour to be recognized for work that I love. Supporting women in business and entrepreneurs, and seeing them succeed and contribute to the economy is very rewarding and energizing. The collaborative business environment in Vancouver and throughout B.C. contributes to this success and enables my work through non-profits to reach more people," states Jill Earthy.

"Jill is a strong advocate and supporter of young entrepreneurs and is a great asset on the CYBF team," says Mitchell Krakower, VP, Regional Operations for CYBF. "We also extend our congratulations to her fellow nominees Cathy Kuzel a long-time, valued mentor with CYBF and Lynn Jest, a great CYBF community partner. CYBF believes in the importance of collaboration in its service delivery and is proud to see two members of its community be recognized for their contributions in Vancouver," he adds.
