Canadian Youth Business Foundation Launches Global Entrepreneurship Week Canada on Parliament Hill

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 15, 2010) - Today, the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF), official host of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Canada, will meet with the Honourable Rob Moore, Minister of State, Small Business and Tourism, on Parliament Hill to officially launch GEW Canada.

As part of the launch, CYBF entrepreneurs, mentors and community partners from regions across Canada will participate in a roundtable discussion with Minister Moore to provide insight into the challenges and opportunities facing young entrepreneurs in Canada and assist in developing a national youth entrepreneurship strategy.

"It is a pleasure to work alongside Canadian decision-makers to champion youth entrepreneurship. Following the roundtable discussion, Minister Moore will attend a press conference at The Flour Shoppe, a CYBF entrepreneur located at 617 Bank Street in Ottawa, where he will make a statement to officially launch GEW Canada on behalf of the Government of Canada.

The celebration will conclude with a reception hosted by Mr. David Aisenstat, president and chief executive officer, The Keg Steakhouse & Bar and Chairman, The Keg Spirit Foundation and member of the CYBF Board of Directors.
