Canadians Against Substance Abuse Applauds McGuinty Government Down Payment to Help Victims

We support CCSA's report: 'four basic starting points for reducing or eliminating the problems associated with youth substance abuse'

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 14, 2007) -

Attention News Editors:

We do thank Deputy Premier and Minister of Health George Smitherman for his announcement on 9/8/07, in response to our plea on 9/3/07, on behalf of Canadians.

On a per capita basis, unfortunately this plan is not enough to ease the crisis. In Ontario, we ask the McGuinty Liberal Government to step up and work with us to protect the Youth and other vulnerable members of our society from the scourges of Substance Abuse.
