"Cancer" Enters the 2016 Presidential Race

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - March 14, 2016) - ("C4P") today announced the launch of its campaign aimed at focusing the presidential candidates on the ongoing national cancer healthcare crisis, and making the fight against cancer a top priority for our incoming president. During the next presidential term based upon the latest estimates from the American Cancer Society: 2.4 million people (1,644 people a day) in the U.S. will die from cancer related illnesses; 7 million people in the U.S. will be newly diagnosed with cancers; and the U.S. will spend over $500 billion on cancer care. None of the presidential candidates have addressed the ongoing cancer crisis, and none of the candidates have proposed policies for accelerating our progress against cancers and reducing cancer related deaths. About (C4P) is an apolitical campaign to demonstrate that cancer is a priority for voters.
