When asked about The Cancer Support Center's Golf Outing, daughters of co-founder Jenny Fallick describe the event "as coming home." "It was the first event our mother coordinated in honor of our father. She gave her heart, soul and life to everything she did for The Center, especially the fundraisers. She knew that without the support of the community, The Center could not survive. We continue to come back and golf every year to honor our father's life and our mother's vision of The Cancer Support Center."

The Cancer Support Center gives strength, guidance and support to anyone living with a cancer diagnosis, as well as to their loved ones. Twenty-three years ago, a young mother and widow, started this golf outing in memory of her husband, Steve Fallick, who died from cancer.

"The Golf Outing is one of our signature events," says Sue Armato, Executive Director. "This is the only Golf Outing in the South Suburbs where businesses, individuals and community members have raised funds that directly affect the quality of life of those living with cancer and their families."

The Center is a community-based, volunteer-driven, donor-supported organization. Programs, resources and services are always delivered by professional therapists, counselors, nutritionists, and experts; and are provided in a warm, welcoming and nurturing setting at no cost to participants.
