Candidate Experience Awards Welcomes SHAKER as Platinum Supporter

Creators of Virtual Job Tryout(R) Join Talent Board to Recognize and Celebrate Extraordinary Candidate Experience Practices

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2015) - Today Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the promotion and data benchmark research of a quality candidate experience, announced that SHAKER, the market leader in custom simulations for pre-employment testing, will support the 2015 Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards as a Platinum Sponsor.

"As an organization, SHAKER helps companies change the way hiring decisions are made. This mission clearly aligns with that of the CandE Awards, which continues to benchmark and recognize companies that deliver positive candidate experiences both across the country and around the world," said Joseph P. Murphy, executive vice president at SHAKER. "Through this relationship, we look forward to working with Talent Board to improve talent acquisition practices and the way candidates are treated throughout the recruiting process."

As experts in selection science and developers of distinctive candidate experiences, SHAKER has supported the CandE Awards program since its inception. Started in 2011, the program involves three rounds of evaluation that document recruitment processes at the participating companies through employer and candidate surveys. During the tenure of its relationship with SHAKER, the CandE Awards have grown from a small, North American competition to include additional programs in the Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions. Participation in these programs continues to grow year over year, with over 130,000 candidates surveyed in 2015.

Ed Newman, Talent Board co-founder and vice president of Strategy for iMomentous, explained, "Hiring top talent is a priority for organizations regardless of size, industry or location, and the CandE Awards research indicates that there is a definitive link between candidate experience and hiring outcomes. SHAKER's emphasis on talent analytics and simulations for hiring demonstrates their ongoing commitment to innovative candidate experiences; we are thrilled to welcome them back."

The 2015 North American CandE Awards are well underway, with the winners scheduled to be announced on Thursday, October 1, 2015 during the Fifth Annual CandE Awards Reception and Banquet. This reception and banquet will take place as part of the Second Annual Candidate Experience Symposium. This three-day symposium will be held Wednesday, September 30 - Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Hilton Fort Worth and will focus on better understanding current talent acquisition trends, recruiting processes and ways to improve the candidate experience.
