Canico Resource Corp.: Onca Puma Executive Summary

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 11, 2005) - Canico Resource Corp. (TSX:CNI) has today received the Executive Summary of a Feasibility Study for the development and operation of the Onca Puma Nickel Project in Para State, Brazil. This document summarizes the material information and conclusions of a full Feasibility Study which is being completed for Canico this month by Hatch Ltd. Canico announced the highlights from the Executive Summary in its news release dated August 4, 2005.

The full Executive Summary has been posted on the SEDAR website, www.sedar.com and on Canico's website, www.canico.com. Please note there are two filings on Sedar, one of which corrects some minor errors in the other.

The highlights, Executive Summary and Feasibility Study are intended to be used by Canico subject to the terms and conditions of its contract with Hatch. That contract permits Canico to file this news release and the Executive Summary, as well as a related Technical Report, with Canadian Securities Regulatory Authorities pursuant to provincial securities legislation.
