Canoe 2015 Flow-Through LP (the "Partnership") announces that it will be proceeding with the tax-deferred transfer of the assets of the Partnership (the "Mutual Fund Rollover Transaction") into Canoe Energy Class (the "Fund") of Canoe 'GO CANADA!'® Fund Corp. The Mutual Fund Rollover Transaction will take place on or about December 16, 2016 (the "Transaction Date") after the close of business. In exchange for the assets, Series A shares of the Fund will be issued to the Partnership. The Partnership will be dissolved on or about December 19, 2016 and in any event within 60 days of the Transaction Date and the Series A shares of the Fund will be distributed to individual limited partners on a dollar equivalent basis.
The Fund's investment objective is to provide long-term capital growth through investments in securities related to the energy sector. The Fund invests primarily in companies that are involved in the exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas in Canada and abroad and in companies which service such industries. The Fund is managed by Canoe Financial LP ("Canoe Financial") Senior Portfolio Manager, Rafi G. Tahmazian, and Associate Portfolio Manager, David Szybunka.
