NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - April 08, 2015) - The Canon C300 Mark II Cinema EOS camera features a Super 35mm CMOS sensor and uses Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology, providing faster and more accurate autofocusing to assist users when operating with small crews. The camera is available with either an EF or a PL Lens mount. The EF lens mount offers compatibility not only with Canon's existing broad range of DSLR lenses, but also with their line of EF-mount CN-E cinema prime and zoom lenses. The PL lens mount features compatibility not only with a broad range of compatible cine lenses from manufacturers like Angenieux and Zeiss, but also with Canon's burgeoning line of EF Cinema lenses for PL mount. The Super 35mm sensor is paired with the Canon DIGIC DV 5 image processor, which uses an innovative method of breaking out red, green, and blue data to enable color performance on a level that would otherwise require three separate chips. The camera records up to Full HD resolution video to CFast 2.0 cards using the XF-AVC codec. For more flexibility to adjust your image during post production, the camera also offers Canon's Log gamma mode, which results in excellent tonal reproduction in the highlight and lowlight regions of an image, and an expanded dynamic range.

Canon XC10 4K camcorder
The Canon XC10 is a unique camera that has a DSLR-like body design and features a 1" CMOS sensor and a fixed 10" f/2.8-5.6 zoom lens. A DIGIC DV 4 image processor pairs with the 1" sensor to deliver 8-bit 422 video resolution up to Ultra HD at 24 and 30 fps and 1080p video up to 60 fps. In addition to 4K video, the camera can also capture 12-megapixel photos independently, or extract still images while recording or playing back video. Ultra HD video is recorded to CFast memory cards, with an SD card slot also provided for HD video and still images. Other notable features of the camera include professional picture profiles -- including the Wide DR and Canon Log native to the Cinema EOS line -- a hot shoe, built-in Wi-Fi, and an HDMI output. It is powered using the common LP-E6-type Canon DSLR battery.
